FLSmidth spruiks fundamentals for Ludowici takeover
FLSmidth is keen to emphasise the benefits of its recent acquisition of Ludowici. The company said its takeover improves its presence in the Australian market and key resources industries.
Ludowici screens are now part of FLSmidth's range.
The acquisition will support an aspiration to expand its services offerings, FLSmidth said. About 60% of Ludowici’s turnover relates to these activities – including spare parts and consumables.
Ludowici's offerings will enhance FLSmidth’s prospects in the copper and iron ore industries, according to the latter company. And in terms of cashing in on the mining boom, Ludowici generates 65% of its turnover in Australia
FLSmidth said Ludowici’s business will also strengthen its flow sheet within coal, aiding its efforts to become a preferred full service provider of sustainable cement and minerals technologies.
