CSA Global continues steady growth
Expansion plans for the UK office and a new office in Indonesia are contributing to CSA’s global strategy. The geological, mining and management consulting company has more than 25 years industry experience in mineral commodities.
CSA Global prides itself on working across all stages of the exploration mining cycle, offering expertise at all phases of development.
Originally known for its expertise in base metals, particularly zinc and lead, CSA Global’s expertise led to the discovery of the Lisheen zinc lead deposit in Ireland; success with the development of the Magellan Lead Project in Western Australia; and in building the profitable Caijiaying Zinc Gold Mine in China. The company continues to work on base metals projects around the world but this is now only part of the picture, with a diverse portfolio of projects across the full range of mineral commodities.
Some of CSA Global’s better known clients include Azumah Resources, First Quantum Minerals, Glencore, Mantra Resources, and OZ Minerals. The company has a number of new developments and successful projects in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas.
CSA Global’s core competencies now include exploration and evaluation, data management and mapping, resources and mine geology, mining and projects, and community development and sustainability. CSA Global currently employs more than 85 staff in its Australian and overseas offices, and the company hopes to expand to at least 100 employees in the near future.
“We truly understand and care about the needs of our staff and clients. We treat all our stakeholders with respect. We are professional but practical, we are passionate about achieving success for our clients and truly wish to add value to our clients’ projects. Our people come from diverse backgrounds and it is these collective experiences and skills that are valuable assets that we offer to our clients,” said CSA Global Managing Director Jeff Elliott.
CSA Global recently relocated its head office to West Perth mid July 2010; “We are now located in the heart of ‘mining town’, our clients and potential clients surround us and meetings are often only a five minute walk away. We have also come to the doorsteps of our key competitors and look forward to continuing the friendly rivalry on similar turf,” said CSA global managing director Jeff Elliott.
“CSA Global has the vision, we have the people, the experience and the capability to become the world’s leading resource industry consultancy,” Elliott said.
