Kelba weighs in with portable bench scales for small products
Load cell and industrial weighing specialist Kelba (Australia) has introduced four portable high-resolution bench scales for use with small products.

The KHX series of bench scales are available in four different capacities andcan be used to check weighing, product ingredients, small freight or postage:
• 3kg x 0.1 grams
• 6kg x 0.2 grams
• 15kg x 0.5 grams
• 30kg x 1 grams
Each scale has a 19mm LCD display with blue back lighting, three-button operation, one by RS232 com port; basic counting function, full tare range, height adjustable feet and level bubble.
They run on AC mains power and DC6V4Ah internal rechargeable battery.
The makers say the 285mm x 240mm stainless steel platter is bigger than normal for a scale of this category. The scale is 100mm high.
