Global rapid response water treatment introduced Down Under
CST Wastewater Solutions and Ecolutia Services have formed a working agreement to develop outsourced water treatment opportunities for mining and resources companies in Australia.
Ecolutia Services is an organisation with a portfolio of critical products and services on standby for worldwide rapid deployment and with access to more than 1,000 personnel worldwide.
The managing director of CST Wastewater Technology, Michael Bambridge said the portfolio of solutions available through Ecolutia Services incorporate the world’s newest and most efficient fleet of mobile water treatment systems, gas treatment, waste-to-energy process and industrial automation products.
The mobile solutions incorporate the latest design philosophy technologies and automation to provide an outsourced service that assists in overcoming critical water issues, such as dealing with water scarcity, security of supply, treating raw water and reusing wastewater.
Available for short or extended durations, the systems are easily removed upon completion of the project. Applications at mines include:
. raw water and process water treatment
. process, drinking and utility water production
. hazardous waste solution treatment
. mine water treatment
. process effluent treatment
. heavy metal removal
. tailings and wastewater water reuse
The mobile systems are deployable to remote locations and each mine can employ a number of solutions at key stages, for specific requirements.
To help avoid a shutdown, this critical service is on standby at all times. Ecolutia Services operates the fleet of specialist systems which are available 24-hours, 365 days a year.
“For long-term needs, Ecolutia Services also operates Build-Own-Operate-Maintain (BOOM) projects that offer customers a complete ‘hands off’ solution,” said Bambridge.
Applications of the Ecolutia Services offering, available through CST Wastewater Solutions, include emergency water requirements, plant start-up and commissioning, planned or unplanned maintenance outages and specialist requirements for changing seasonal, quality, testing and process applications.
The modular systems can be configured in series or parallel to increase quality or volume. In sensitive environments, zero liquid discharges system can also be made available.
Commenting on the new relationship, Ken Schmidt, CEO Ecolutia Services said, “We are excited to be working with Michael and his team to provide customers with viable solutions previously not available.
