New telescopic handler arrivals from Manitou

MHT 780 telescopic handler
Manitou will be showcasing its new high capacity telescopic handler at CICA Convention, in Peth from September 1st to 3rd.
The MHT780 is designed to operate in a wide range of applications where power and high capacity are a must.
Mining and quarrying customers will benefit from its load capacity of 8 tonnes to utilise specialised accessories such as tyre clamps and jibs.
Its 2.7 tonne capacity at a forward reach of 4 metres means that blocks of stone can be easily handled and mining equipment maintained (such as dumpers, conveyors, etc.).
In prefabricated materials made from concrete, wood or steel, etc operators will benefit from the exceptional load capability which allows 8 tonnes to be raised to a height of 7 metres in total safety.
The Perkins 106 KW engine and hydrostatic transmission provide smooth operation and a high degree of precision.
With 4-wheel drive and 4-wheel steer, the user can operate on all terrains whatever the surface type. The 3 steering modes (2-wheel, 4-wheel and crab) combined with a turning circle of less than 5 metres provides excellent manoeuvrability for handling yard holds.
Manitou has opted for a front-axle locking system design for greater robustness, thereby ensuring the long-term reliability of applications on rough terrain.  To work in the harshest environments, in all climate conditions, the vehicle is cooled by two separate radiators, one for the engine, and the other for hydraulic oil.
The ergonomic design of the new “Evolution” cab provides more intuitive access to all functions. The control dials, indicator lights and controls are all positioned to be visible and within easy reach. The dashboard is placed to the right and comprises rev-counter/speedometer and timer, fuel and water temperature gauge, clock, all of the indicator lights and a progressive load indicator.
With the introduction of the MHT780 the Manitou range of “heavy load” machines the range now includes 8 models 5, 6, 8, 9, 12, 14, 16 and 21 tonne capacity machines.

MT 625 telescopic handler
Designed to meet the standards of increasingly demanding working conditions (narrow and obstruction-laden sites such as parking lots, building renovation or refurbishing sites, and site maintenance, etc.), MT 625 is simple, compact and efficient.
With a height of 1.92m and a width of 1.82m, the MT 625 can easily access low room buildings and basements.  Equipped with 4-wheel drive and 4 -wheel steering, it moves efficiently across rough terrain sites and easily negotiates ramps and obstacles.  The driver’s cab with its panoramic vision allows the operator to maneuver the handler with precision in confined spaces.
The MT 625 has a 2.5 tonne capacity and lift height of 5.85m.  The operator can place a 2 tonne load at a height of 5.85m which is equivalent to placing a load on the first floor of a building.  The maximum forward reach capability enables the MT 625 to place a 1.2t load at 2.55m.
The latest of the compact telescopic forklift trucks, Manitou combines fast working cycles and safety with its electronically regulated hydrostatic transmission technology. This ensures heightened responsiveness during the acceleration phase and automatic braking on pedal release.
Maximum productivity and efficiency are achieved due to the flexibility of the dual speed selection (onsite or on the road).  Like all Manitou forklift trucks, the MT 625 can be fitted with a number of front end accessories to increase versatility.
The MT 625 has been specifically designed for ease of use and has a JSM® multifunction joystick for intuitive operation.  The JSM® lets the operator keep one hand on the wheel at all times.
New: The digital display dashboard allows information to be read directly: timer, fuel gauge, automatic service indicator and display of diagnostic maintenance codes.
The KUBOTA 3307 T – 75 cv/55 Kw (Euro III A) engine is laterally positioned.  The good accessibility of its mechanical components and the display of service intervals and diagnostic codes make technical monitoring of the vehicle easier in the long-term.
