The Australian Journal of Mining has partnered with Magnetized Markets to provide a new web-based tool which makes it easier to get quotes and proposals when a formal tender is not required.

It is a win-win solution that is aimed at saving both buyers and vendors time and money, reduce risk, and help connect the right people at the right time without the hassle of searching and chasing.
Currently suppliers and service providers spend a lot of time and money just to find out which buyers are looking for the services they offer. These online sourcing tools work like a magnet - attracting the targeted results that organisations need.
The application is accessed through The Australian Journal of Mining ‘Find Suppliers’ page here.
The publication’s marketing manager, John Wilson said he's really impressed by how simple the Marketplace product is to use and he's excited by the opportunity it provides for mining industry organisations and their suppliers.
“The Australian Journal of Mining is always looking for new tools and technology to assist organisations in the industry and this tool is a great fit,” he said.
Magnetized Markets managing director James Leathem said already thousands of Australian businesses have taken up the technology as well as governments and local councils.
He said that many organisations waste time searching web pages, scrolling through directories or calling everyone they know just to find out which service providers and suppliers have the products, experience and capability to provide what they need.
“Typically this means that buyers and sellers use these tools for products between $2,000 and $350,000,” said Leathem.
