Fixturlaser PAT Pulley Alignment System
The Fixturlaser PAT is an easy to use laser based pulley alignment device. It can be used with V-belts, Poly-V belts, and optionally timing belts.
Two pulley spring loaded laser transmitters attach to opposite pulleys projecting a laser line to the opposite transmitter. Errors in pulley systems due to parallel offset, angular error, and twist are immediately visible. Misaligned pulleys cause belt wear, bearing failure, and vibration which are potentially costly in repair costs and lost production time.
Alignment can be checked by one person in just a few minutes by adjusting the pulley position until the laser lines are on the opposite transmitter target points.
Pulley diameters may be from 75mm upwards. The measuring distance is from 15cm to 6m. Measuring accuracy is better than 0.5mm or 0.2 degrees. 20 hours continuous operation is provided by two AAA batteries.
