The new facility brings together under one roof the engineering, project management and sales teams of the specialist mineral processing disciplines now operating as part of the worldwide FLSmidth Minerals group including Krebs Engineers, Abon, FFE and Dorr-Oliver Eimco.
The workshop and product assembly facility at Welshpool will be retained and developed.
FLSmidth Minerals Pty Ltd managing director Andrew Berlach said the new facility had been in the planning stages for some time, in response to an increasing local and international demand for the group’s specialist expertise and products.
“The FLSmidth group has a policy of establishing regional specialist facilities,” he said. “Combining the skills of our Perth team will give them the opportunity to work more closely together and develop their overall skill base, which can only be of benefit to our clients.”
Along with design, engineering and sales, the new facility will oversee an extensive and experienced construction and project management team as well as house OEM and replacement parts.
The new office is located at, 2 George Wiencke Drive, Perth Domestic Airport. For more information tel: +61 (0)8 9259 3700, or email: andrew.berlach@flsmidth.com
