Legionella monitoring in underground mining operations

For many years Legionella bacteria have posed a health risk. Their proliferation and dissemination from cooling tower water has been well documented and researched leading to the development of Australian standards and procedures to control the risks associated with Legionella growth [2,8,11,12].
