New ‘tough’ 9000W light tower
Bliss-Fox has enhanced its reputation for making robust, value-for-money portable lighting towers in Australia with the launch of the new Nepean NIGHTOWL™ six-head 9000W model.
The locally designed and manufactured unit boasts impressive, reliable light output from six standard 1500W metal halide lamps, combined with an innovative mast design, rugged cabinet and chassis, and dependable Yanmar engine.
A new optional feature is a hydraulic outrigger stabiliser system that makes for faster, safer on-site set-up. The stabilisers are automatically activated by a central, easy-to-operate lever system, eliminating the time and physical labour involved in setting up manually operated outriggers.
Another available option is a fully bunded cabinet to provide complete environmental protection. The standard model can also be upgraded with six 2000W lamps to deliver a massive 12000W light output.
The Nepean NIGHTOWL™ was officially unveiled at this years Hire and Rental Industry Association (HRIA) Convention, held in Melbourne in April.
Bliss-Fox general manager, Bryn Jones, says the company has listened to what its customers want and delivered a light tower that combines superior light output with rugged, reliable performance, compactness and value-for-money.
“The Nepean NIGHTOWL™ is made for long-life performance in the toughest Australian environments, ideally suited to mining and heavy construction sites,” he said.
“Its compact design also means it takes up a small footprint on site and is easy to transport. It has a retractable draw-bar and an innovative mast and light stowage configuration, which means you can transport four units together on the back of a 40-foot trailer.”
